Can chooks be trained to use a latrine area?

We have two in our suburban backyard. I believe they're OK for space, but I'd love to stop them leaving politicians (think about it) on our concrete area and timber deck. The vege patch would be great. Optimistic, I know.

Optimistic for sure ,if i get you right you want some areas totally out of bounds for your hens .cordon off or fence the area they are free to roam in & keep the rest spotless, no two ways about it ,not practical ? does not appeal to you? I think you should opt for another type of pet , I suggest you leave politicians well alone ,not good to mess with them !
