How do you clean a timber deck?

1. Some people use a stiff bristled push broom and TSP ( tri-sodium-phosphate, from hardware stores ). Along with a water hose with a spray nozzle. Others will use a pressure washer ( get a low foam cleaner that is for pressure washers ), rent one or there are services of people who will come and clean your deck. Where I live there are classified ads for this service and some ads in the hand held yellow pages.
2. A power washer with a deck cleaner. You can rent the power washer or buy one.You can buy cleaner for the wood at wal-mart

4. Using a power-washer with the right cleaning solution will be the easiest, or you can clean it with a bucket of half water and half chlorine bleach and a stiff bristled broom or brush and lots of elbow grease (hard work). You should rinse off with water hose.
