  1. Is that for real? They really have that? I guess as a guy I'd go as CPT Kirk, because he was the man!!!
  2. I wear a gold shirt. Get the kids blue shirts. What ever you do don't wear a red shirt.
  3. Two words: vulcan ears
  4. I would dress up as one of the aliens. Paint your face grey and green, have horns coming out of your head, paint or attach a third eye on your forehead, and wear something that makes your skin look scaly.
  5. I personally am anti-Star Trek so wouldn't even entertain the idea. I know a couple who had a backyard Star Trek wedding. Those uniforms are definitely NOT flattering on most people and can't imagine doing that for my wedding.
  6. Are you having reception in Quark's restaurant? They have loads of the characters walking around all the time, it's fun. Well, if first marriage I'd go with a traditional dress, and just have the witnesses in costume, but it's up to you. The kids would probably get a kick out of dressing in costumes, but why not ask them (if they're old enough). If second wedding I'd go with the theme and wear the officer suits they have. That's an awesome place, you'll have a blast either way!!
  7. I know a couple who had a Starfleet wedding (not at the Hilton, though) They were both officers (of the international fan club) and they wore their STTNG uniforms. You could be in uniform, or as any character, or you could do traditional wedding attire. It's all up to you. If I were doing it, I would be in a "monster maroon" uniform, which is more flattering to more shapes than TOS or STTNG. If the guests wanted to dress in costume, I would encourage it. I would go the whole 9 parsecs and have the officiant wear a Vulcan ceremonial robe as well. The Star Trek Experience at the LV Hilton is great. I went through it several times when we were there in 2002. Have fun and live long, and prosper.
  8. ROFL - He so wants to do this, and I have told him NO. He actually wants a "Betazoid" - and I nixed this one from the get go. If it was TOS - he would want to go as Spock - his nick name in high school, and probably No. 1 or Q from TNG.
