shortly after i had my roof replaced i went into the attic to inspect .....i found that many of the decking boards were broken or splintered, apparently by the roofing nails. in some places you can clearly see through to the underside of the felt on the other side. it rained really hard already, and i can't detect any leaks, but i am still concerned by these broken boards. i called the roofing company to come back and look at it, but i would appreciate any advice i could get. are there any honest roofers out there that can let me know if this is normal? is it normal for there to be some damage especially to the older decking boards during the process? thanks ahead of time!!!!!
