THINKING OF GETTING A POOL IN OUR GARDEN- DOES ANYONE RECOMMEnD IT? OR IS IT A BAD IDEA PLZZZ ANSWEERRR THANKS

hiya, thinking of getting a pool built in our back garden, sort of a wooden one, with like wooden decking around it. has anyone had a pool built in their garden that is pleased they did? and sort of how much did it cost, and to run it? anyone regret doing it? thanks x SO SORRY, THIS QUESTION RANDOMLY ENDED UP IN THE WOMENS HEALTH :S

1. First thing I think of is standing water equals Mosquitos. Just a thought. Price of course depends on how big and fancy you make it.
2. It is a great idea but it will be costly. Not only do you have the expense of the pool but you HAVE to put up a fence that is lockable and your home insurance will go up. So, if you can afford it, go for it. Call your insurance agent and ask them what it costs to have this happen. Good luck and , I hope, Happy Swimming!
3. I would go the extra distance and get an inground one. My family put one in last year, and we love it! It just opened up again from last winter and we swim everyday. I know it cost a lot, but my parents wouldnt tell the exact amount. Even if you dont get an inground one, you should still get one because they are so so great on a hot day!
4. LOL, woman's health :) I'm sure that it would look great though.
